Monday & Wednesday: Football Skills Camp / Soccer Skills Camp (Athlete Picks!)
Monday (Individual Skill Position Training)
Technique: Technically proficient football players provide themselves an opportunity to make consistent plays. Our focus is to create elite foundational technique at each position.
IQ: The understanding of why a player does a movement is just as important as knowing how to do the movement. Our goal is to lay the foundation of understanding execution.
Execution: High level football performance is successfully accomplished by 11 players executing flawlessly on a consistent and continuous basis. The goal is for each player to know how and why they perform a movement and then transition into completing that movement correctly over time.
Wednesday (Competition Day)
Focus: Skill groups will be placed through a number of individual and team based competition drills including: 1 v 1, 7 on 7, Half Field Reads, etc. The purpose of Wednesday training is to actively apply Monday’s skill training into competition reps.
Tuesday & Thursday: BEST Elite Training (All Athletes, All Sports)
Balance: Being in control of your body throughout each movement especially when you are knocked off of your axis.
Explosion: Our focus is on moving from a standstill or a change of direction into another state of movement with maximum velocity.
Speed: Speed and fluidity through the finish of each movement creates optimum efficiency in movement. The goal is to start explosive and stay fast throughout each movement.
Technique: The technical aspect to horizontal and lateral movement allows for the explosion and speed factors to take place. We strive for each player to understand the connectivity between players, their bodies, and their sports specific situation
Each focus area of the BEST Elite Training will be executed on both training days. Our training will also include competition drills, sports specific advisement, leadership development mentoring.
Our group of trainers have all played and or coached at the collegiate or professional level. This is the best training in town.
Coach Julian Walker Bio
Coach Julian Walker started his athletic career at Manvel High School where he lettered in four sports. He was named to the All State football team and accepted a Scholarship to play football at The Citadel. He later transferred and graduated from Central State University where he was an all-conference player his senior year. After a few NFL tryouts and combines Coach Walker spent 2 years in a level 1 semi-pro football league. After his playing career was over Coach Walker developed a select AAU basketball club, Next Level Elite. Next Level Elite has over 160 athletes currently enrolled in its program. He is responsible for sending over 30 players both girls and boys to college on scholarships.
Coach Joshua Morrow Bio
Joshua Morrow is currently a mental and physical health trainer who lettered at the University of Texas in both football and track. He played football professionally after his college days. He is also an Army veteran completing six years in the Army Rangers and spends his days mentoring athletes and providing inspirational motivation. Change your mind, you'll change your outcome.
Pre-Season Practices are non-contact. No pads or helmets required. Athletes should wear t-shirt, shorts, and cleats if you have them. Please bring plenty of water or gatorade!
